Tree & Shrub Pruning
We follow ANSI A300 standards and Z133 for tree care and we stay up to date on new studies emerging on tree health and diseases. So whether your tree needs deadwood removed, branch thinning, crown raising, or pruning to remove weight from over your home, we’ve got you covered.
Firewood
We are building our stock of firewood for the fall-winter cold weather season. We sell and deliver face cords or full cords of firewood. Call us for pricing.
Tree Removal Services
We specialize in tree, stump, and shrub removal. Our expertise includes climbing and rigging for tree removal in tight spots, and our stump removal grinds up to six inches below the surface. We can also assist with undesirable species management via chemical, manual, or mechanical methods.
Air Spading
Air Spading can be used to carefully expose buried roots and loosen compacted soil providing many advantages for your trees. Additional services include root flare excavation, soil augmentation, and tree/shrub transplanting.
Plant Health Care
We offer a variety of plant health care options to maintain and improve conditions for your beloved trees. We can treat for diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies using different cultural, mechanical or chemical methods.

Not only does Nick continue to learn to uphold this certification and increase his expertise, he covers the cost for his entire team to travel and participate in annual industry-led training. We are proud of his dedication to the profession and our community.

One Tree Project
Every year we lose over 3 million trees in urban areas of the United States alone. At HartWood we want our grandchildren to be able to enjoy big beautiful trees and we have a way to help achieve this goal. We are committed to planting one tree for each one we have removed. To date, we have planted over 750 trees. Every year around Arbor Day we gather with friends and clients for a fun and meaningful tree planting party. We hope you can join us!
