For Every Tree Removed, One More Planted
Every year we lose over 3 million trees in urban areas in the United States alone. At HartWood we want our grandchildren to be able to enjoy big, beautiful trees. To accomplish this, we are committed to planting one tree for each one we removed the previous year. Every year around Arbor Day, we gather with friends and clients for a fun and meaningful tree planting party. Please reach out to us if you would like to learn more.
This year, 2025, we partnered with the city of Goshen to plant 400 trees in a gravel bed system, which is essentially a temporary holding plot filled with sandy gravel. The trees will grow larger and broader root systems which will allow them to flourish when they are eventually planted into their new urban spots!
